Thorns to help you see

I have not been very mobile over the past few days. It would seem I have cracked a bone or I just have extreme swelling in my foot. Lots of ice and elevated feet has been my day to day. Beside my prayers fro healing I have also had other people praying for healing.

But here is the truth of the matter, I pray for this "thorn" in my flesh to be removed only to hear God say my grace is sufficient. I am no Paul by any stretch of the imagination, but God uses these "thorns" to help us see who is the ruler in our lives. Also, as a reminder that He is in control.

I needed rest, God understood that, I just couldn't see it. I need to shift my daily schedule and see the things that consume me that are not focused on Him.

Praise God for the "thorns"
