In the beginning God created…

Today I read the first verse of the Bible and I started to think about some of the things I am currently learning.

We are created beings and such is the case with all other organisms. All creatures of the earth are made to succeed. The base instinct of all animals is a natural wiring to succeed. This is true of human kind as well.

So why do we find people who seem to be doomed to failure? How did we get so far off a path to success?

Unlike other creatures, we are created in the image of God. God is creator, so in essence we are creators. We create a false narrative in our minds about others. We even create false narratives about ourselves. These are the stories we tell ourselves that are extremely detrimental to our success.

How do we change this? We start by improving self image. We think better of ourselves.

It is said to treat others as yourself, but if you treat yourself poorly aren’t you doomed to treat others the same way?

You are capable today to change your self image.
