Daily practices

Today I wanted to share my daily practices, in hopes others can find their rhythm for a daily practice.

I have included “the list” as an image to this post that is a template I created in OneNote. I would like to explain each item.

The mood entry is how I am feeling as I start my day. After mood I like to say 3 things I am grateful for in that very moment, always searching for at least 1 item of gratitude that is a bit obscure. Some thing like that little latch component in a car that keeps the door closed.

The majority of the middle section on the page are my other morning focus items. These are my focus items they do not necessarily need to be yours. The morning items are; Make bed, blog, journal, meditate and pray. My goal is to accomplish at least 3 of these everyday, but to do all if at all possible, depending on time.

The other items are my work/health/ life routines. These include checking and processing my email 3 times a day, reading 3 times a day, breathing exercises 2 times a day, tracking my water intake and my excercise/stretching.

Finally, I have my 3 items I am focusing on for work and personal. The check mark helps me indicate which of these 3 items get the majority of my focus for the day. The rest of the page is for journaling or note taking.

After describing this, it has helped me to see some better flow items to put in my practice and maybe make it more universal. I am grateful I shared it and got my blog entry done for the day at he same time.
