Today’s prayer

Heavenly Father,

Today is Yours.

My breath, my body, my time—they are not my own.

You bought me with the blood of Your Son, and I gladly yield again.

Lead me by Your Spirit.

Silence the noise of this world.

Crush the pride that rises up.

Make me alert to the schemes of the enemy, and even more alert to the voice of my Shepherd.

Let my eyes see what matters.

Let my hands serve without seeking credit.

Let my tongue speak only what builds, blesses, and brings You glory.

Keep me from drifting into comfort when You are calling me into obedience.

Keep me from compromise, even in small things.

Make my heart burn again like the two on the road to Emmaus when Jesus walked with them.

Father, remind me that eternity is closer than I think—

and that today could be the day I stand before You.

Until then, I will watch, I will pray, I will obey.

In the name of Yeshua, my King,

Amen.
