Bad or good
Today I was reading in Genesis 24 about Abraham's servant who went to find Isaac a bride. The scripture that struck me was this.
"Then Laban and Bethuel answered, "The thing comes from the Lord; we cannot speak to you anything bad or good.""
This reminds me of the scripture that says "let your yes be a yes and your no be a no."
I essence do not add anything extra to your words. In this case, do not add anything extra to what God has put together, good or bad, because either would be prideful.
